Bryan’s journey to founding Beez Neez Gourmet Sausages started with a visit that changed everything. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Bryan came to Portland in September 2009 with no intentions beyond exploring the city. But one fateful day of sampling the local street food scene — ten different food carts in just a few hours — sparked an idea he couldn’t shake. Inspired by both the energy of Portland’s food cart culture and the rich, hearty sausages he had grown up enjoying in Alaska, Bryan realized there was a delicious gap in the market he could fill.

 A month later, Beez Neez was ready to go, offering Portlanders a special mix of gourmet sausages inspired by the owner's Alaskan background. From reindeer to vegan options made with seitan, Bryan brought something new to the city's food scene, focusing on tasty, unforgettable flavors and good quality ingredients. What started as a quick trip into a culinary adventure  — and now Portland's food enthusiasts are benefiting from it.
